Award Information
The College of Arts and Sciences provides a significant number of donor-supported scholarships to CAS students. CAS Scholarships and Fellowships include a variety of eligibility criteria, including financial need, academic merit, Oregon residency status, and specific majors. All currently enrolled CAS majors are encouraged to apply.
We use one application that will automatically enter you into consideration for any scholarships for which you meet the selection criteria.
Typical award amounts range from $1,000 - $5,000. In some cases, scholarships provide awards to multiple recipients.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Scholarship awardees must be enrolled in at least 1 UO credit each term they receive scholarship funding

The application will open Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.
Applications are due Monday, March 2, 2026.
Distribution of 2026-2027 Scholarships will begin in Fall 2026.
Experiential Learning Opportunity Scholarship
The College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite undergraduate students to apply for scholarships to support them in pursuing Experiential Learning Opportunity Scholarship. The scholarship will provide financial support of $500 to $5,000 to assist students in completing an unpaid internship, research opportunity, or service-learning experience. Preference will be given to applicants with financial need, as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. We will consider assistance for paid internships where the case can be made that the compensation will not be adequate to cover living expenses.
